Hanson to upgrade systems at BCC’s Visual Arts Building

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. –The West Palm Beach office of Hanson Professional Services Inc. has been selected to design the upgrades to the mechanical and electrical distribution systems at the Broward Community College (BCC) Visual Arts Building. The approximately 16,000-square-foot building is on the A. Hugh Adams Campus in Davie, Fla. It houses the Fine Arts Gallery as well as classrooms, laboratories and workshops for art, woodworking, pottery, photography, and computer studies. Increased student enrollment, updated codes, and environmental and safety requirements necessitated the upgrades. The overall upgrades include enhanced dust collection systems, ventilation improvements, and upgrade and modernization of the electrical system’s services, transformers, panelboards and circuiting.
