Bartolomucci appointed to new position at Hanson

SPRINGFIELD, Ill.—Thomas E. Bartolomucci, P.E., S.E., has been named project delivery services manager for Hanson Professional Services Inc. In this role, he will work directly with Hanson’s seven market sectors and two main business units—transportation services and government and commercial services—to enhance the company’s project performance and deliverable services.

Bartolomucci will oversee staff members who provide support services and resources to Hanson’s project teams, including those employed in the company’s technical library, computer services and quality assurance. Additionally, his focus will include streamlining the project-management process and providing resources for training, technology, financial management and quality assurance.

Bartolomucci joined Hanson in 1983, and he is a licensed professional and structural engineer. He was named an assistant vice president in 2006. Most recently, he directed the building and facility operations within Hanson’s energy and industry market unit.

He has served as a project manager and structural engineer on many projects, including the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum, Union Station, University of Illinois at Springfield’s University Hall, and Crowne Plaza, all in Springfield.

He holds both bachelor’s (1982) and master’s (1983) degrees in civil engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Additionally, he is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the National Parking Association.
