The Carbondale-area office is located at 3125 New Era Road in Murphysboro, near the Southern Illinois Airport. The office serves clients throughout southern Illinois and northwestern Kentucky, and it is the 21st office for the company. Hanson provides comprehensive consulting services in seven markets, including aviation; departments of transportation and tollways; energy and industry; government; local government; railway; and telecommunications. The firm employs approximately 450 individuals nationwide, including engineers, architects, land acquisition specialists, planners, surveyors and scientists.
