Hecht marks 35 years of service at Hanson
PEORIA, Ill.—Jeffry Hecht, of Germantown Hills, recently celebrated 35 years of service at Hanson Professional Services Inc.
Hecht serves as a senior engineering technician at Hanson’s Peoria regional office. He has been instrumental in developing the Peoria office’s construction inspection services. He specializes in conducting laboratory and field testing for soil, concrete and steel-related materials. Hecht also has been a survey party chief for construction layout, land boundary locations, topographical data collection and other types of surveying projects.
During his career, Hecht has served as resident engineering supervisor for many significant local projects, including the rehabilitation of the McClugage Bridges over the Illinois River in Peoria; the reconstruction of 2.25 miles of Interstate 55/74 near Bloomington, Ill.; and a new employee parking deck at Proctor Hospital in Peoria.
Hecht holds an associate’s degree in technical studies (1971) from Illinois Valley Community College.
