Public Relations Coordinator Litherland joins Hanson's Carbondale officeCARBONDALE, Ill.—Jeffery S. Litherland, P.E., recently joined Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Carbondale-area office. A civil engineer in Hanson’s aviation market, Litherland has more than 20 years of experience in the engineering industry. He is responsible for ongoing consulting services at the Southern Illinois Airport. He also serves as a corporate client champion, where he assists in developing engineering, architectural and management services for clients in southern Illinois. Prior to joining Hanson, Litherland served as an estimator and project coordinator for the Mount Carmel Stabilization Group Inc. in Mount Carmel, Ill. He also was previously employed with the Illinois Department of Transportation, Division of Aeronautics. Litherland has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (1986) from the University of Missouri at Rolla. Hanson is an employee-owned consulting firm providing architectural, engineering and management services from its headquarters in Springfield, Ill., and offices nationwide.
