Public Relations Coordinator Olsen joins Hanson's Springfield headquartersSPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Amanda J. Olsen recently joined Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Springfield headquarters. As a water resource engineer, Olsen serves Hanson’s local government market. Prior to joining Hanson, Olsen completed an internship with Waterborne Environmental Inc., where she collected surface water samples; analyzed weather and river stations for specific study sites; and managed an alternative auto sampler project. She holds a bachelor’s degree (2007) in agricultural engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Olsen also studied abroad in South Africa, participating in various engineering projects, and in India, assisting with a water quality study. Hanson is an employee-owned consulting firm providing architectural, engineering and management services from its headquarters in Springfield, Ill., and offices nationwide.
